AN APPLICATION CHECKLIST FOR A KOREAN TOURIST VISA APPLICANT

  • You must present your ORIGINAL, SIGNED passport, valid for at least six months after the end of your voyage, as well as a photocopy of the passport's information page.
  • Your passport must have two blank visa pages. (Amendment and endorsement pages do not fit this condition.) Furthermore, if a key's information page is frayed, ripped, or otherwise damaged, it cannot be utilized for visa applications.
  • If you have dual citizenship, only apply for Singapore Permanent Residence using the nationality listed on your Singapore Work and Related Passes, Student Pass, Long Term Pass, or NRIC.

 

VISA APPLICATION FORM FOR KOREA

  • One "Visa Application Form" has been duly completed and signed by the visa applicant.
  • The visa application's correctly completed and signed Health Condition Report Form.
  • The signatures on the previous papers must be handwritten and adhere to the signature on the passport. Electronic signatures are not permitted on visa applications.

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR A KOREAN VISA

  • If you are employed, you must provide a letter of employment from your current Singapore employer (Refer to the attached sample).
  • If self-employed, you must have a physical copy of the most recent ACRA Bizfile. (Within one month after printing)
  • If you are a student, you must provide a letter from your school (refer to the attached sample).
  • If you are a retiree, housewife, or student and your vacation is being paid for by your working spouse, parent, or adult child, you must provide a letter of employment from that organization with your application (Refer to attached sample)
  • If any of these persons sponsor you, you must submit the original and a duplicate of their Singapore Work Passes or Singapore Permanent Residence NRIC.
  • You must provide the original and a duplicate of your marriage certificate if your spouse pays for your trip.
  • You must submit both the original and a duplicate of your birth certificate if your vacation is being paid for by your parent or an adult working kid.
  • If a marriage or birth certificate is not in English, it must be accompanied by an official translation.
  • One current passport-size color picture of oneself with a white backdrop (strictly within the past six months). The photo must represent the visa applicant's frontal pose, with their shoulders and heads held neutrally back (not smiling). It must be printed on premium picture paper with a resolution of at least 600 DPI (not photocopy paper). The photo must be adhered to the form, with no evidence of tape or staples.
  • Evidence of adequate funds to cover the expense of your holiday. If you are self-sponsored, send a copy of your most recent three-month Singapore bank statement or an updated bank passbook. If your spouse, parent, or working adult child sponsors you, you must present an original bank statement or a valid bank passbook in their name. Furthermore, the visa applicant's or sponsor's name must appear on the Internet printout of the "E" statement, and the bank must affirm that it is a true copy.
  • Original copies of the following papers are required: Singapore Work and Related Passes, Student Pass, Long Term Pass, Singapore Permanent Residence NRIC with re-entry permission, and Singapore Permanent Residence NRIC with re-entry permit. You must scan the QR code to acquire a printout of the expiry status and other pass information for new Work Permits, or other Singapore government-issued passes that feature a QR code in place of an expiration date. This printout must attest to the pass's validity and include the current date. Download the free SG - WORK PASS app from the Ministry of Manpower (available on the Apple Appstore or Google Play Store) to perform this function. The document must be scanned and printed within seven days of the application date.
  • If you are a Singapore Permanent Resident with a unique key, transfer the status of your Re-entry from your expired passport to your new access before applying.

DETAILED CHECKLIST FOR KOREAN BUSINESS VISA APPLICATION

  • It would be best if you produced your ORIGINAL passport, which must be valid for at least six months after the end of your trip, and a photocopy of the passport's information page.
  • You must have two blank visa pages remaining in your passport. (Amendment and endorsement pages do not fit this condition.) Furthermore, broken, frayed, or otherwise damaged passport information pages cannot be utilized to apply for visas.
  • If you have two passports, only the one stated on your Singapore Work Pass or Singapore Permanent Residence NRIC can be used to apply.

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR ADDITIONAL BUSINESS VISA FOR KOREA

  • Proof of your most recent employment. A letter from your company indicating your position, joining date, a brief explanation of the trip's purpose, length of stay (dd/mm/yyyy to dd/mm/yyyy), and financial commitment for the duration of your stay in Korea (issued within one month of the application date) may be included (who will be paying for your business trip to Korea).
  • If you work for yourself, you must have a hard copy of the most recent ARCA Bizfile (Issued within one month of the application date).
  • An electronic copy of the Korean company's invitation letter. (Issued one month following application.)
  • A copy of the Korean company's "Business Registration Certificate" via email (Issued within three months).
  • You must provide one passport-size color photo of yourself with a white backdrop taken within the last six months. The applicant's frontal position must be seen in the photograph, and they must not turn their heads or shoulders (not smiling). It must be printed on premium picture paper with a resolution of at least 600 DPI (not photocopy paper). The photo must be adhered to the form, with no evidence of tape or staples.
  • Your Singapore Work Pass, Singapore Permanent Residence NRIC, and Singapore Re-entry Permit Form 7 must be provided in original and triplicate, front and back, to be accepted. Furthermore, for Singapore Work Passes with a QR code instead of an expiration date, you must provide a printout of the expiry status and other pass information by scanning the QR code on the back of the card. This printout must confirm the pass's validity and show the current date. Then, you may download it via the Ministry of Manpower's free SG WorkPass app (available on Apple AppStore or Google Play Store). Scan and print the document within seven days of the application date.
  • If you are a Singapore Permanent Resident with a unique key, transfer the information from the Re-entry Permit from the old passport to the new access before applying for the visa.
