Documents are needed for Singaporeans and holders of residence passes to apply for a Taiwan visa under the business category.
With this Visa, you can visit Taiwan for brief business meetings with clients or with Taiwanese branch offices of other organizations. More specifically, these visas permit shorter business travel.
Processing Typically takes 5 to 6 working days to receive a Taiwan tourist visa. Visa processing can, however, occasionally take fewer days or even longer.
Typically, a Taiwan visa is issued with a 3-month single-entry validity period.
However, the Taiwan Embassy in Singapore has the right to modify the validity of such visas.
As the Visa will be stamped on the passport, it should be presented for processing the Taiwan visa application. At least two blank pages in the passport are required, one for stamping visas and the other for stamping entrance and departure stamps. The passport must be valid for at least six months on travel to Taiwan. Before requesting a Taiwan visa, renewing your passport if its remaining validity is less than six months is preferable.

It should be mentioned that the pass must be valid for at least three months when the Taiwan visa application is made. The applicant must present a letter of justification from the guarantor if the pass's validity is shorter than three months. To demonstrate that they have sufficient cash for their trip to Taiwan, applicants must provide the most recent bank statement with their Taiwan visa applications. Suppose the traveler is neither unemployed nor possesses a bank account. In that case, they must present the spouse's or parent's bank statements and proof of their relationships, such as a marriage license or birth certificate.

The firm in Taiwan must provide a letter of invitation to the applicant to apply for a business visa. The name of the applicant, job, reason for the visit, and intended length of stay in Taiwan should all be clearly stated in the invitation letter. The letter must be written on the letterhead of the Taiwanese firm and have the authorized representative's signature.
The firm should provide the applicant with the company incorporation paperwork so they may submit them with their visa application. The corporate seal should be attached to the copy of the document, which the firm's authorized representative must sign.
The Singaporean firm must provide a letter of undertaking to the applicant to apply for a business visa. The undertaking letter should be specific about the applicant's name, title, pay grade, the reason for travel, and anticipated length of stay in Taiwan. The letter must be written on the letterhead of the Singaporean firm and have the authorized representative's signature.
The applicant must get the Singapore business incorporation documentation (ACRA) from the Singaporean firm before submitting the visa application. The authorized representative of the Singapore firm shall sign the copy of the document, and the papers should be sealed with the Singapore corporate seal.
Singapore citizens do not need a visa to visit Taiwan for up to 30 days.
Likewise, for stays of up to 30 days, Taiwan does not require access for citizens of Malaysia.
